Secure data transmission sufficient to replace WiFi - able to support streaming, real-time transactions, and a myriad of critical digital services from any cellular connection.
5G Alliance Utah is a public-private partnership of wireless network providers, government organizations and offices, universities, industry associations, capital sources, and individual enthusiasts and experts working together to ensure Utah remains on the technological leading edge.
5G technology represents a major swell of economic activity - some argue as significant as the creation of the internet. We seek to involve Utah companies and organizations in the design, manufacture, commercialization, and implementation of 5G technologies in Utah communities.
The ultimate goal of 5G Alliance Utah is to create business and educational opportunities in the wireless technology industry in the state of Utah. Our belief is that Utah is positioned to become an important player in the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, systems, and platforms in wireless broadband, mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), low-latency/high-reliability, and edge-computing technologies.
The Alliance works to bring together it's member ecosystem to: discuss 5G technology roadmaps; identify gaps and opportunities that could be filled by Utah companies; and bring together companies with funding sources to build a wireless technology ecosystem in the state of Utah.

We expect positive outcomes of every Alliance interaction. These outcomes include connecting Utah businesses and organization to solve business and technical problems, educating Utah companies and government on development and implementation opportunities, highlighting research and development activities already occurring in Utah, developing strategies to fill gaps in the wireless 5G technology roadmap, informing policy decisions regarding implementation in communities and throughout the state, and connecting companies with state and private funding sources to develop their technology solutions.
